When you learn, teach. When you get, give. As the above proverb says one of our teacher namely Inaganti.Nagur, who worked in our AMG School, Chilakaluripet for two years (2009-11) and now blessed with Government job as Police Constable inspired by AMG activities and offered half of his first month salary i.e. Rs.5000 as donation to AMG towards the welfare of the poor and needy.

After successfully finished their school final exams, each year we are blessed to help our students to attend summer camp with a motto "To show kids Jesus".  We believe that each child should have the opportunity to attend summer camp and to be soaked in the love and joy of a friendship with Jesus.  We want kids to have lots of fun while at camp and to relate that joy into knowing Jesus as a friend. Kids tell us that their lives have been changed.  So do their parents.

Inspired by the AMG’s dedicated services to the poor and needy, people are coming forward to donate as much as they can. Ms.Busi Ramya Asa Latha, M.Tech, working as Asst.Prof in GITAM University has donated Rs.10000 to AMG towards the welfare of poor and needy. She is also the daughter of Sri.B.Krupa Rao who is working as Chief Programmes Officer in AMG, Chilakaluripet.

On the occasion of the “World T.B. Day” a meeting was held in AMG Dr. Cornelia T.B & Chest Disease Hospital, Chilakaluripet on 24th March 2012. Dr. Arunkumar Kanti Mohanty, Director,AMG, Sri.K.Jacob,Vice-President,AMG, Sri. V.J. Vijay Kumar, CAO, Sri.B.Krupa Rao,CPO, Dr. P.Pavan Roy, Dr. Sagar Kumar, Dr.Rama Kotaih, Hospital staff and patients participated in the meeting.

You may see that the people are donating after well settled in their life but we are happy to share the story of donation made by our students of AMG Degree college for Women,Chilakaluriept on their farewell day. Even though they are not the earners but they inspired by AMG services and donated Rs.10000 from their pocket money towards the welfare of poor and needy.

In a matter of minutes, a person's entire world can be turned upside down from the devastation of a fire. Be it a house fire or a farm fire, the end result is that the victims need support and help rebuilding their lives. Here's what AMG did to help rebuild people's lives who lose everything in recent fire accident at Edlapadu near Chilakaluripet.

26th January, each year a day on which every Indian feels proud and heart fills up with patriotic compassion and immense love for motherland. 26th January, 1950 was the day when the Indian republic and its Constitution of India came into force, India became a Republic.

The day arrives finally on which AMG brings smile on thousands of poor children faces through Bundles of Love. For AMG, Christmas means showing Christ love and compassion through distributing Bundles of Love to thousands of poor, needy, destitute and downtrodden people. “It is a package that expresses the love of Jesus in physical form to those who greatly need it. Each Bundle of Love may contain a pair of dress or a skirt, a sweater or shirt, a pair of shoes, a blanket, a toy if possible, or whatever else the child may need. If he or she does not already have a copy of the Scriptures, one is included as well.”

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities which focuses this year on “Together for a better world for all: including persons with disabilities in development”, District Social Welfare for Disabled and Senior Citizen Dept organized sports meet for all persons with disabilities in Guntur. Capping Ceremony of II Batch GNM Nursing Students of AMG-Dr.Satyavedam School of Nursing was held on 1 December 2011 at Chilakaluripet. The Capping ceremony was instituted as a way to present New Nursing Students who have completed the school of work (that is theory part of nursing) prior to beginning Hospital training that is practical experience at Hospital. All the official of the organization graced the occasion and blessed the New Nursing students .

On account of World Aids Day 2011, AMG India International organised a rally-cum-awareness campaign at Chilakaluripet. About 1,000 School and College students took part in spreading the message of “Prevent AIDS” by holding placards. After completing the rally, an awareness meeting was conducted for all students in the campus. All the officials of the organization attend the meeting and spoke on how to prevent AIDs. Pastor John Raju gave Bible message from 1 Cor 3:16 explaining that we are the temple of God and God lives in us, so we have to live in purity and holy life.

We hope that you all know the miracle of Jesus heals the person who was there for 38 years at the pool of Bethesda. There was nobody to help him and even his family left him but Jesus was so kind enough to heal him.

By the grace of God Dr.H.H.Deichmann is back to India to visit all AMG projects with his team. As you all know a picture worths thousand words, here we would like to present some of the photos of different programs held at all over AMG locations.

Women have always been marginalized and relegated to the status of subjugated class in the Indian society. Women have not actively participated in their emancipation due to their lack of economic independence and illiteracy. Women should be organized and strengthened at the grass root level to end their subordination. AMG India is making an attempt in that direction to make rural women self sufficient through sewing training centers.

Jesus’ own words connect our identity as Christians to the simple act of bringing water to the thirsty.

As we all know Water is essential for living healthy but most of the village people in Andhra Pradesh are still not having access to safety water. They used to be not .On papers you may read that every village in India has electricity and water but most of the village people in Andhra Pradesh depend upon bore-wells for water as there are no pipes or water and there is hardly any electricity. With bore-well, we should be able to get sufficient water to fulfill the essential needs of the villagers.

Keeping this in mind a medical camp was organized at AMG Schools, Yeleswaram, Kakinada and Chilakaluripet recently.

We all know that 15th August is the Independence Day of India as well as our beloved Director’s Birthday.
This birthday is very special as he celebrated the birthday with the leprosy victims at Valley of love, Adivivaram and Bethsaida, Narava where AMG is running Leprosy Relief & Rehabilitation projects.

“AMG vision is that both blind parents and children should grow—Parents grow in self-dignity by stopping begging and stations, Bus Stations, entrances of churches, temples and masjids. This is because, being blind and/ or with defective vision, they cannot work and earn for themselves and they have to depend upon another person, to lead them or to help them in all their works and to provide their daily needs/ food.

“Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in PRISON, and ye came unto me” – Bible.

It is a unique project started in 2010, but different from other AMG projects. The supra verses from the Bible constrained AMG to come forward to show Christ's compassion and love,by extending a Helping Hand to the children and families of prisoners and comforting them in their distress. When a family member is convicted and put in the prison, the children and the spouse are ex-communicated by the society. The stigma affects all the family members and the family is pushed into poverty and starvation. The result is that the wife and the children have to go for work for their living. Education of children is discontinued. The spouse and children turn into daily wage earner. The tribulations of the family are unbearable and uncountable.

“You must be the change you want to see in the world" Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi wrote in one of his essays. AMG believes that a positive change in the living conditions of the poor people can be brought, by changing the childhood of the poor children.This is possible only through quality education, empowering the poor children with knowledge and qualifications and personality development to compete in the job market. AMG Schools have good infra-structure for the overall development of the poor students. AMG builds the self-confidence of the poor students by providing Text-books,Note-books,school-bags,shoes,socks and Uniforms. Functions for distribution of the above items were held in all AMG schools.
