| Boon to the Blind |
|
“AMG vision is that both blind parents and children should grow—Parents grow in self-dignity by stopping begging and stations, Bus Stations, entrances of churches, temples and masjids. This is because, being blind and/ or with defective vision, they cannot work and earn for themselves and they have to depend upon another person, to lead them or to help them in all their works and to provide their daily needs/ food. The common belief, of old-time people in India, is that the blind persons are cursed by the deities, because of their sins in the previous life. However, Christians do not accept this belief, but believe that God, in His wisdom and purpose, creates some persons with some shortcoming, like blindness. Our Lord Jesus Christ stated in the Gospel of John verse 3, that “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him”. As the followers of Jesus Christ, we have the responsibility to “Manifest” the love of God, in the lives of these blind persons and “show Christ’s compassion and love for the poor and needy.” AMG India took the challenge and started to explore ways provide help and assistance to the children grow by getting education.” Monthly study support to 500 children is credited in their Bank accounts. 500 attended the meeting held at AMG-campus on 26.07.2011. The blind people and the children convey their whole-hearted thanks to Dr. H. H. Deichmann and other kind-hearted Donors of Wort and Tat, Germany, as well as to AMG for the help. They are praying God to grant rich blessings on donors and their ministries in the years to come.
