Once again we at AMG are happy to share the success story of Ms.P.Anuradha, former student of AMG who recently donated an amount of Rs.10000 towards the welfare of the school where she was completed her schooling. Ms.Anuradha feels that she has been blessed with the best of opportunities and it is time for her to help as many as she can. It is also interesting to know that after completion of her Teacher’s Course (B.Ed) she also worked as a teacher in AMG for sometime and now near her village Ponnur.

Yet another success on AMG platform!
My name is Raghumandala Shankar. I was born on 2nd January 1993, at a village Rajam in Srikakulam district. I lost my mother when I was 4 years old. My father expired when I was studying 7th grade. After this I was under my maternal uncle’s care for six months. He was not accepted to continue my education and forced me to work in agricultural fields. But I have no interest to work in agricultural fields and wanted to study. Therefore I escaped from him without any goal, and used to wandering in passenger trains.

In the past, victims of leprosy were shunned by society and forced to form leper colonies ,their children were mistreated and not allowed in local schools. Social stigma of being the children of lepers has dissected them from the mainstream of the society.To remove this social stigma AMG has started Leprosy Relief and Rehabilitation projects and their children are offered education in all AMG Schools.Here we would like to share the success story of Y. Indira, daughter of a leprosy victim who is benefiting through AMG's ration distribution to leprosy victims at Anaparthy, near Rajamundry.

A survey carried out in a prison reveals that the head of the family is imprisoning in most of the cases thus causes many problems to their families. Yenni Nirmala joined AMG Abode of Hope in 1982. She is the eldest of the family. She has two younger brothers and one younger sister. Her father is an agricultural labourer. Mother is sick and incapable of doing any work. She was affected with polio when 3 years old. As a result both her legs and right hand were crippled.She passed 10th Standard to Post Graduation (M.A.) Degree and also computer Applications (P.G.D.C.A) totally with AMG support.She now works as an Assistant in the Communication Cell of AMG Area Office, Visakhapatnam. She works hard and has a feeling of standing on her own legs.She believes in Lord Jesus and received Baptism at the Christian Assembly, Visakhapatnam in 1997. She attends the church regularly.She is thankful to AMG for supporting her educationally in all aspects. |
